NGO COOPI
COOPI Cooperazione Internazionale is a humanitarian, non confessional and independent organization that fights against all kinds of poverty to make the world a better place and to promote better life conditions, respect of human rights and gender equality. Founded in 1965 by Vincenzo Barbieri, COOPI has realized more than 600 projects, both in development and emergency, in 50 countries, giving a work opportunity to more than 30.000 local employees and supporting more than 50 millions of beneficiaries. The association intervenes in Africa, Latin America and the Middle East in collaboration with local actors (civil society, public administration and so on) and working in different sectors such as agriculture and food security, water and sanitation, health and nutrition, humanitarian assistance, human rights, education, socio-economic services, migration. All sectors are related to one another in the programs launched by COOPI all of them interrelated.

To carry out its activities, Coopi is currently looking for sector based profiles of experts in nutrition, with good skills in project writing and project evaluation, for the major international donors (ECHO, EU, UN Agencies, USAID, DFID, WB).

Areas of Expertise :
- Maternal and Child Malnutrition
- Training and support for treatments and prevention of malnutrition in related critical areas (health, hygiene, drought, etc.)
- Monitoring and nutritional interventions in emergency contexts
Profile:
- PhD o Masters degree in public health nutrition (nutrition, public health, epidemiology)
- Experience conducting nutritional assessments and surveys in SQUEAC, SMART and IYCF evaluations
- Proficiency in nutrition data analysis and database management
- Minimum three years field experience in implementing and managing nutrition programs in developing countries
- Technical expertise in CMAM and IYCF programs in development and emergency contexts
