This exciting new role will lead a unit within the Birmingham Business School tasked with delivering the School’s Online Learning Strategy. The postholder will be responsible for engaging with academic colleagues to design and deliver online modules and courses, as well as blended learning activities for campus-based programmes. The postholder will also line manage the School Learning Technologist.
The postholder will have significant experience in the pedagogical design and development of online resources that are delivered in a fully online or blended manner. The resources will include significant amounts of video so expertise in educational video best practice, video scripting and pedagogical application of such resources will be crucial.
The postholder should also possess experience of working with academic staff and line management of professional services staff. Working in a sometimes challenging environment the postholder must be positive, independent, proactive and willing to act as a vocal champion for online learning in the School.
Salary from £28,695 to £39,685 a year
