Quality Assurance and Testing Officer

Salary: £38,511 - £45,954 per annum


Warwick is seeking an outstanding specialist that will lead on quality assurance and testing in the development of a new world-leading Pre-University foundation programme.
This challenging position requires a specialist with significant experience of quality assurance systems and processes (including student recruitment and admissions and entrance/exist examinations (i.e. APTIS, SAT and IELTs) in Higher Education and of the application of HE regulatory requirements, including participation in assessment processes and boards.
Reporting to the Senior Teaching Fellow Lead, you will advise on the overall Quality Assurance Framework for the new Pre-University Foundation Programme. This includes advising on the development of solid assessment policies and procedures including working with a third party provider to develop a bespoke subject admissions test for the programme.
This role has a strong stakeholder management component and is pivotal in working collaboratively with the project team as they engage in curriculum development, review, and evaluation in order to ensure integrity, rigor, and currency of the programmes.
Reporting to the Senior Teaching Fellow Lead, you must be a highly experienced professional with excellent interpersonal skills, be self-confident and persuasive in giving professional advice both verbally and in writing. You must be a self-starter, highly adaptable and experienced at working to tight deadlines whilst maintaining high standards. You will need to be able to plan and manage your own workload, whilst prioritising and reacting to changes and issues as they arise.
You will ideally have experience of working within a large complex organisation with an international dimension. An honours degree or equivalent, with a PhD qualification or equivalent experience would be desirable.
Fixed term contract for 12 months or secondment opportunity. The post is likely to be extended for 3 – 5 years subject to funding.
