As an important function of its mandate, IOM is the Cluster Lead Agency for Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) for natural disaster-induced displacement situations under the 2005 IASC Humanitarian Reform. The IOM CCCM HQ team supports colleagues in the field and drives innovation and the development of tools and best practices. The team works closely with other international and UN organisations, including the CCCM Cluster co-lead UNHCR. Internally, the team benefits from the expertise of other IOM departments and units, including counter trafficking, gender coordination, research, donor relations, migration health, and information technology and communications.
