Director - Directorate for Financial and Enterprise Affairs (DAF)

The Organisation provides a unique forum in which governments work together to share experiences on what drives economic, social and environmental change, seeking solutions to common problems.
Paris based position with attractive remuneration package.  
The core mission of the Directorate for Financial and Enterprise Affairs (DAF), comprising approx. 200 staff members, is to build open and efficient markets and market institutions, combat market abuse and corruption and promote international cooperation. DAF provides OECD member and partner countries with policy guidance and support in anti-corruption, competition, corporate affairs, financial affairs and international investment areas.
We are looking for a dynamic and visionary individual to provide leadership and strategic direction and be a key member of the Senior Management Team of the Organisation. He/She will support the strategic orientations of the Secretary-General in DAF’s areas of work, contributing towards the Organisation’s major initiatives, promoting horizontal work and fostering co-ordination and joint activities with other areas of the Organisation. They will lead a team of highly qualified staff to deliver a complex programme of work and maintain a wide professional network, representing the OECD in international meetings and high level missions to member and partner countries.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the Directorate’s main policy areas with a combination of private sector experience and public policy understanding, thriving in a multidisciplinary and multicultural work environment. He/She will help strengthen the Organisation’s prominent role among international organisations dealing with similar issues.
This position requires fluency in one of the two OECD official languages (English and French) and a knowledge of the other, with a commitment to reach a good working level.
