Senior Paralegal Advisor for a Justice Sector project in Zambia

BiRD is currently looking for expressions of interests from experts in the justice sector with various specialisations for the position of Senior Paralegal Advisor for a Justice Sector project in Zambia.
Well-qualified candidates should have the following illustrative qualifications:
*University degree in Law or a related field. Degrees in Human Rights, Economics, International Development or Public Administration will also be considered. An advanced degree (MA, MSc, MBA, PhD) is preferred;
*Previous comprehensive experience as a paralegal;
*Previous experience as a Team Leader for a Technical Assistance project related to Legal Reform;
*Knowledge of EC and GIZ or other international donor rules and regulations;
*Regional Experience in Subsaharan Africa required and experience in Zambia Justice Sector considered an asset;
*Demonstrated capability to work effectively with senior and local government officials, public interest and community groups, private industry representatives;
*A capacity-works certification is required for the position;
*Outstanding communication, management, and reporting skills; and
*Fluency in written and oral English required.
