Human Resources Officer (2 Posts)
Petra Diamonds SA invites candidates who are interested in gaining workplace experience in the mining sector in the discipline of human resource management to apply for the Young Graduate Work Experience Project.
The positions will be based in Kimberley (Northern Cape).
Duties and responsibilities:
• Follow a programme to gain workplace experience within specified areas and sections
• Execute project-based work related to human resource management and development
• Work in designated areas according to the Mine’s Standard Operating Procedures
• Work according to the applicable policies and procedures
• Submit progress reports to supervisors for assessment.
Minimum requirements:
• Grade 12
• National Diploma in Human Resource Management or Human Resource Development
• It will be to your advantage if you are from the labour sending area of the Mine (Frances Baard District Municipality).
Other skills/competencies:
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English, as well as sound interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to show initiative and be self-motivated
• Report-writing skills.
